Mark has so far shown not only the skill to stay in-character no matter what, but to keep Pete in character while he's explicitly trying to break it. Truly, he is a god amongst men.

And with this abrupt breaking of the flashback, I have already used all the scenes I skipped at the beginning, I think. At least those I will use. Remember that Rogue is not a player character.
This also marks the finish of Magneto's and Charles' little chat, which I feel I have overused. I'm glad to abandon these scenes, actually.

Lastly, this also marks the end of the first game session. I originally wasn't going to show those, but with Ben's outbreak it seemed only natural that they'd give him time to cool off. They have since successfully calmed him, but the break was still marked in my mind.
But even if they will have to wait a week to keep playing, you, the dear reader, will be able to see the continuation tomorrow. 'Till then!
