A massive saurian lumbers, snarling and slavering into the light, its serpentine neck raising an ugly head over the two lovers. Its hateful amber eyes and dripping fang-lined jaws strike fear into even Helga’s barbarian heart. It is a deadly swamp dragon, a primeval monster infused with the deadliest poison known to gods or myths or man. She curses in Hyperborean.
