Day 5:
another day missed! though this time i have a proper excuse. i set everything up to draw the comic at 7 only to find the tablet was refusing to work right. it does that sometimes. so i figured I'd give it an hour and try again. but my brother came home and stole my commuter. so i was unable to do the comic. so it's all my brothers fault not mine! anyways…. back to the funnehs! hehe ^_^ i think the next few comics are going to be funny anyway. i have them roughly planned out in my mind. ran out of ones I've drawn in advance. I'll draw two tomorrow during my frees so i dun have to worry about falling behind. i can always use the rough copy if i have to. allot changed from the rough copy to this one. including nearly all of the wording. but roughs are after all just roughs.
so yes, the pulling the rope caused a trap door to open. before you all start wondering "why the hell is there a conveniently placed trap door?" remember that the curtain was hiding Deme's priceless antique elvish sword. Deme wouldn't have just left such a priceless procession guarded by such a simple sword in the stone spell. no he rigged it up so when someone pulled the rpe to open the curtain a trap door would open in front of the sword making some poor adventurer fall into it and hopefully delay their team mates. simple yet effective. of course even though Deme designed the trap he wasn't entirely sure where it was. so he thought he would have to push Felix into it. still quick ad easy way to deal with an adventurer.
oh and the next few comics may be delayed due to health reasons. hopefully not. you see i got this burn on my right wrist at work on Saturday. and it hurts when i move my wrist so as you can imagine it makes drawing difficult. i can deal with the pain, but it also makes my hand very stiff and clumsy. i don't think it will cause any problems, it'll probably be better in a day or two and i thus i wont have to worry about it. but you know, just a cheap warning. I'm sure any other web comic artist would stop updating till their wrist was better. but like i said, i got a high pain tolerance so I'm quite happy to suffer a little for the sake of drawing!
