00250: Can't sleep

250 comics people!!!!!! okay i guess it's technically 251 because i added an extra 0.5 before no.200. but still 250 pages! wooooot!!!! I'm afraid I had nothing planned special for my 250th strip, i usually do. usually something out of the oridinary. So i thought to make todays stip extra special i'd draw it extra specially good. And it does look good doesn't it? :3 i haven't had much pratice as of late with dodge and burn shading via the computer, but it seriously makes this page look ultra awsome! it took me four hours to do T_T that's twice as long as a normal strip! wouldn't it be awsome if the comic looked this good all the time? the extra awsome thing about it is no copyied and pasted backgrounds! each one of these backdrops i drawed exspecially for each panel. which what adds an extra awsomeness to the page!
Our little band of adventurers have decided to move during the day at some point. you can see those grey mountans in the distance there, so they've moved further south, but as you can't see the brown mountains probably allot east as well.
I like the first panel the most in this, the 5th pane is pretty awsome too, but i just love how dramatic that sky looks with the NPC worlds two moons. the 5th panel is especially cure because Felix's hair isen't in front of his left ear like it usually is. his hair is a mess after a full day being held back in a platt which is why it's all over the place. I kinda like how Felix's hair looks with the seperate hair strands, instead of that big fluffy ball of hair i usually draw him with. i think it makes him look cuter. Felix is just generally cute period. But i think he looks especially cute today :3 hehe. sorry i'm rambling, but this is what you get when a girl draws a popular webcomic ;) she rambles!
Also what i looooove about todays update is the camera angels. they keep changing. which is nice, ya know? Also if you look hard enough you can see the havoc they enovlked on Deme's face in the 3rd panel :P I almost forgot about that, but i thought it'd be a nice touch.
Overall i think this is probably one of the best pages i've drawn. better than some of those pages in Deme's childhood backstory. which were admittedly pretty damn awesome. though i personally think i wont get up at 8 tommorow just to draw a snazzy webcomic like this again :P
