hehe, I miss good old sarcastic Felix. he's usually so carefree. but pissed off sarcastic Felix is so amusing to write for. definetly when it's so easy to keep thinking Felix as the dumb one and when he gets really cross he shows he is anything but stupid. well most the time anyway. though recently felix hasn't been acting too dumb.
And Felix is right, either Chalice or Deme would be far better faced against the berserker than Felix. they are both faster and they don't actually have to get anywhere near him to attack him. Where Felix though he does use poleroid weapons still has to get closer. and he has a lower dex rating i guess too. (chalice has higher cause she's a gunner and a girl) it's sort of funny how quickly i apply DnD themed stuff to this comic even though i know next to nothing about the game XD.
Though to be fair Deme is best matched up against a fellow Magic user. cause no one can best Deme when it comes to magic :D except maybe his brother ^_^
I've also made a proper battle background for this one. looks much better. have you ever noticed when you enter a battle zone in FF the background pretty much doesn't change. except if you're playing FF12 or 11 i guess. i still have tog et around to playing 11. when i find the money i'll give it a go. it's laying around in my room looking all unloved :D
As you can see below i have created the first wallpaper thingy for donators out of yesterdays page. it took me forever to make because i had to make a widescreen version of it too. and i started with widescreen so it was hard putting it into normal. heck it was hard to make period. but its a pretty nifty wallpaper. it looks beautiful on my desktop :P
Also a note on healing in the NPC realm. Chalice healing spells don't raelly work very well on wounds like a broken arm and as you can see by the scab on Deme's brow even small cuts. they can help, but they cannot compleatly cure them. just enough so you don't die from them. except when you're in a battlezone where pretty much most of the injuries don't really hit you until you're dead. healing spells in battle zones are for bringing back hit points not for healing things. So deme's still got a few cracked ribs but unlike Felix aint complaing about them. heck i dun know why Felix is whining. he'll probably just get a few bruises. if that!
