Next update! As you can probably tell I'm trying out a new kind of shading called "cell shading" now while most comic artists use this "l33t" and "groovy" way of shading, Fiona has been in the dark ages with using simple black and white shading. I've been told the comic would look better if i used cell shading instead. or at least my air would look better. (i personally still preffer a good dodge and burn) of course the problem with this kind of shading is as i use high definision screens, i see things either comming out allot lightier then they should or allot darker. depends how the screen is angeled. it's hard in anycase. So you guys tell me. is it too light? is it too dark? is it just right? should i just go back to how i usually do it? does it look better like this? i'll do the next few pages in cell shading just so people can see whether they like it enough. if not i'll go back to good old black and white ^^
I'm happy with Arden's body in this page. I usualy suck at drawing mens bodies without any ref. but this time it turned out pretty good without one. yay! I also need to do more with my backgrounds besides "fields" "woods" and "more feilds + woods!" suggestions there be nice ^^
