Happy birthday NPC! Am I seriously still doing this? *looks around* seriously!? Christ. it's strange to think I've been doing this for four years… I keep on getting confused and thinking. "shit! has it really been four year? i swear it was only three…" and then I look back and count the birthdays. it's a bit sad that I've only managed 341 pages in 4 years. not even 100 a year. I suck.
So I've set myself a target *points above* I want to be this far in the NPC story line in four years! course to get that far in the NPC story line in four years… I'd have to do like… 200 pages a year… *thumbs up* I can do it! maybe… xD
So to move on to the page commentry. ZOMG! this took freaking forever to do xD i worked from… hmm… 5-1:30am to get this done. roughly anyways. i did admittedly take some breaks in between to get this monster compleated. i would have gone insane otherwise. The lighting affects were hard. but i think i pulled it off okay. I think the panel's dailouge could be better. I do love the Halls of law. I suck at designing rooms. (thus why i cheat with backgrounds) but i was really pleased with how it turned out in the end. I think the god of law needs less phallic imagery…. yes, yes that is a god in the center not a godess. for those of you who have read NPC_redone, will recorgnise the god trapping crystal thing. and those of you who remember the diety info page a while back will guess this is indeed the god of law's tomb. hidden from the world until released like the goddess of chaos. and i'm sure you can guess what the key is. it's hanging off felix's belt in panel 2. but it's faaar too small for you guys to see. not that it matters, with the current storyline. ^^
I could have picked any event really that might occure in the next four years. but i chose this one because it had the least amount of spoilers. Yes it has Deme's younger brother in, but I'm sure you all knew he was going to pop up in this comic eventually anyway. (and for those of you whoa re like "deme has a second brother!?" yes, yes he does. go read NPC_redone damn it!) Plus it was too cool not to draw :P So yes, this is what NPC has to look forward to! more than one camera angle! propally drawn backgrounds and la gasp! new characters! (wee pretty boys!) I really need more female characters…
But i'm sure this page brings up hundreds of other questions. like: why does Felix have a plant? whats with the green things on his face? (in which i say, go back and look through the archive. hahaha) what's up with Deme's brothers apeparance? why doesn't he look like he does in NPC_Redone? Well.. i redesigned him ^^ I'll probably end up redesigning him again at some point… though i really like his appearance in this. his cute, and his hair is nice. (it's allot lighter than it looks in there. i darkened it up because they're meant to be underground)
So yeah. 4 years… and to four more years!
also, to help the 200 goal along… we have a donation bar :P for every £50 i get you get an extra page. i know most artists make it £100 for an extra page. but, eh, I'm cheap. the little £0 at the end is the money counter. it'll say how much money has come in already. none so far. I actually do need the money. coming worriedly close to my overdraft line… i'm trying to not spend so much… hopefully i'll sucseed. but any extra help from some fans would be nice. cause i'm very poor right now. and hey, you get an extra page that week in return when it hits £50. fair exchange no? I get to eat and you get a page.
I'll probably plough out an extra page this week anyways. got enough free time to do so. :3 probably… thursday or friday. cause you guys never have to worry. sure my updating sucks… but this comic shall never end!!!! mwuhahahahahaha!!!!! it's too fun to write ^^ i mean, geeze. look whats t come! you guys better stick around. cause this comic is only gona get muuuuuch better ;)
