on

A bottomless pit goes on and on. so at some point it must turn around on itself, so that the subject can continue to fall infinitivly. Who knows how far Deme fell before he came around by felix again? god knows! And I say just enough out of sight that Felix could see him dissapper and be shocked for him to pass him. This page was meant to be longer…. but, it's really really tall to begin with. Laying out the comic is fuuun ^^
now! Instead of my usual rants about life, money issues, lack of time space and dimension. I'm going to do something useful. As this may be my last comic for the year, as I'm going home and am going to be VERY busy with work at the hospital, and school work. I'm going to do some game reviews! Yes, me the artist and writer of NPC is going to write game reviews, so you mgiht have some idea what you want for christmas :P here we go!!!

Harvest Moon: Island Of Happyness
I have been playing this game allot recently. I personally love the Harvest moon series. I have yet to meet an american who knows what the fuck I'm talking about when I talk about this game, But I'm sure there must be some lovers of it out there.
The harvest moon series is basically, you are given a piece of land to farm on (yes you get to live the American dream!)you grow crops, you have a pet dog, you can keep chickens and cows and sheep, and you're meant to build up relationships with NPC's and find a husband/wife get them to marry you and pop out children. That is the basic guideline to any HM game. Island of happyness has decided to make it not so easy for the player as harvest moon is in other versions of the game. Seriously, out of all the games Island of happyness is probably the hardest. Why? Because it makes you work. You can't spend every day watering three lots of crops and run around talking to people. Well you can. but you'd gain little profit and that would make the game unfun. You have to save up, you have to make a big income. because if you make lots of money more people move to the island, new shops open and new areas of the island can be eventurally open. You can't have festivals, you can't mine, you can't get certain items unless you do certain things in the game. You can't get your dog and horse until you have unlocked a certain event. And there's so much to do in the days they give you. it's hard, and you know what, it might sound like a lame repetitive farming game, but it's challenging, and addictive. Seriously. I find it enjoyable. it's far better than the wii version of the game and heck the last harvest moon for the DS they brought out before that. it uses the touch screen exclusively on the DS. it's fun.

Chrono Trigger
another DS game. I play allot of DS games. This one has just been recently realesed over here. Well I think it has. My game shop (Stan games which is an Independent game store) tends to get allot of american games in waaay before they're actually meant to be realeased in the UK and said that Chrono Trigger isn't expected in the shop Game for a few more months. and even then it probably wont be in mass. Chrono Trigger was never offishelly realesed in the UK when it first came out for the PS which was why I was so excited when Stan managed to get it in. I've gotten pretty far on it, with getting to the mountain of woe and facing the boss there. it's got a really enjoyable plot. which doesnt make you say "WTF?" like I first thought when I read the instruction book. I'm sure most of you have played this game already. If so then apparently they've added some new dungeons and features. the touchscreen isen't used really that much. except for items and equipment. you can use it in battle, but i find the old method easier. it's a really enjoyable game. still worth buying even if you already know everything about it. it's not incredibly difficult. I mean geeze I didn't die in it until the mountains of woe. and the fight system in it is cool.

proffesor Layton and the mysterouse village
eh, this game is good if you enjoy puzzles. I think it could be more interesting as far as moving around the village is concerned. perhaps make it more interactive as far as that is conserned. Or if they just leave that and just make the NPC's more interesting. they were dull unless they were appearing in a movie. the movies for this game are amaaaaaaziiiing. and the storyline is pretty cool. it's easy to guess the end, though I'm pretty confused about the villain. they could have made allot more out of this game, and I don't think i'll be buying the next in the series. it didn't really thrill me much, or impress me much. but if you're a puzzel person it'll kill the next 15 hours of your life.

Trama center, under the knife 1&2:
Trama center, under the knife no1 is for the wii 2 is for the DS. This game is pretty awesome if you like doctor related stuff. the story for it is really cool and you can get to really like the characters. they're not at all 2d, but they can get a bit annoying at points. The two games are linked. the first covering a national spread of the disease 'guilt' and crushign it. the second is to stop the re realse of the desiease getting very far and stop and evil organisasion for using guilt for evil. the operasions are as hard or easy as you like as you can have it in easy, normal or hard mode. some operations really do require easy, where most can be done on normal. you really need quick hands most the time, and it's a real challange. The wii version is allot harder than the ds version. but the ds version can be a bit annoying when in comes to grasping the tools. the wii makes it easier for selection. but really quality in game play doesn't diminish. I enjoy the game series and I hope to get the next trauma center release for christmas ^^.
