I made a promis to myself at the beginning of the year that I'd update every week…. and so far i've managed fairly well… only to fail next week because I'm back home in kent for anouther go at my driving test. *fingers crossed there* so if anyone wants to be a darling and send in some fan art for the week. true_hearted@hotmail.com is where to hit me with your fabulouse masterpieces.
I guess i could always use the old cannon scanner here. but you have to beat it for it to work. (literally)
I had to do this one on the train. and then my adobe started to suck because i guess my mouse and tablet kept mashing the keys and put in something i didn't want it to. but it's done now. huzzah.
Back to Chalice and Arden. haven't you missed them? A slightly updated outfit for chalice… i put her hair in pigtails because I personally find them cute :P Disagree all you like but I think she looks hawt. I wanted to do this page in so many different ways… i went for the simplest… and then ended up spending 3-4 hours on one panel… CAN YOU GUESS WHICH ONE!?!?!?! *grumble grumble frustrasion* the long hourage is more due to having to wait forevah to download a special brush for the water, which delayed the whole comic because i had the water selected and then i had to restard the program anyway for the brushes. I debated a good while on the water. whether to keep it flat or make it look like it was running water. i decided on running simply because it's more interesting. this was meant to be done for saturday too… but with panels taking forever, and i had to pack for coming home and goto my friends birthday party i'm just not that good at multitasking. still i got allot done. and the adobe crashed and i had to redo it on the train. such is life.
I was also debating whether to do a drawing of Blue… cause you know… I love you guys. your comments always brighten my day and your adorasion keeps me going when I sit back and wonder why the hell I draw this pice of crap. I was thinking of doing a painting… (because i can) and have the mystery of Blue solved forever for you, in beautiful water colours which everyone could appreciate. While having this beautiful daydream which was truely inspiring my need to paint I stopped by a cash machine and relised how very poor I am. I came back home, looked at the site to check for new comments and saw the donasion bar sadly still at 0. And remembered that even though I love all you, 8-10 hours painting really hurts my back, hands and neck. That I would never get a thank you for it, or even "oo nice painting". quite a few "oooo thats what blue looks like!" i'm sure. So I closed my browser and went to play on saints row 2 instead. Because even though a game will never love me. I still get money and hos. :P
