The first of the bios. Maru is one of the characters that went through many different designs. He started out as an aggressive, competitive brother who when out looking for fights. I changed his personality because I when I drew him out, I couldn't get him to look right. So I decided to model him after my oldest brother. Well, at least personality wise.
