Its a conspiracy I tells ya !!
The deities confirmed that their warrior Goubudameshi slew Naga Shen while the others battled Shinitora, but something was strange about it.
An old fashioned cover-up of something perhaps.

Its very important to know when we meet Tsen that this occured, and in fact what you see is what happened. Tsen fought alongside the god until it was slain, but what happened then?
Tis a mystery !!

Also, note that Naga Shen only has one eye. Shinitora is similar, he also has just one on the opposite side.
