Smiling Platypus onOur local paper ran Prickly City on the back page for a few weeks and asked our opinions. I thought it was unoriginal, trite, and not very funny. So, of course, they decided to keep it. Bad political cartoonists look for obvious targets and fall flat looking for the irony in their subjects. I haven't seen a funny Prickly City yet. Here's my version:
