Yes, there are people who can do that with liquid, but it's incredibly difficult to do so out of the blue.

don't get any ideas though, no matter how good you think the reflexes of a bartender are, for the love of GOD, don't do what Enrique did! you'll have to pay for the glass and they'll toss you out forever.

And you shouldn't try this at home with liquor… if you must, use water… and maybe outside… but you should use plastic cup instead so you don't break etc
