Pastis is a type of liqueur made from Anise, it's means "to imitate" in french and is called that due to the fact it's a fake version of the ancient illegal liqueur called Absinthe (it was outlawed due to the fact it had toxins in it like Wormwood)

Pastis is pale yellow and near clear, if you add water, it turns milky white.

Pastis Water:

-Pastis 51

-Mineral Water

In a Highball glass, fill with ice, fill the glass one fifth with pastis, fill the rest with water, and mix once to get a smooth, minty flavor of anise
