Negligence #395: Zion and the Holy Herb

When Jameel first appeared in the comic a long time ago, he acted like a blatant Jamaican stereotype. I've been trying to rectify that ever since, and having him be so different (yet quite similar) to his own mother might be the right direction to take him.

Maybe he acts the way he does because of the traumas he endured in life (his own conception was a major trauma), or maybe he's trying to get in touch with roots that he's not quite that familiar with himself? I'm still trying to figure him out.

Because of the lack of entries, I've decided to extend the deadline of the Cubicle Fan Art Contest. If you want to know more, click here. Basically, Genejoke and myself need enough entries to actually judge who gets what prize. If there aren't enough entries by March 21st, then we'll just have to send all our prizes to whoever gave us their entries.
