Guest Comic: Buttons the Fraggle Slayer

This is my wife's second contribution to Nerdcore. The first was to draw half of Nerdcore #004, a-way back when.

I was the guest artist this week for Nerdcore!!!! ^_^

There's no explanation for the comic listed on the site, and for my own sake, I want to mention that it was VERY VERY late when I wrote this. Basically, we are HUGE fans of Firefly. This naturally lead to being BIG Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans. We've been watching a LOT of Buffy. (We watched every episode there is within 4 months.) After seeing the movie Serenity, I started to notice how much Wash and Wembley Fraggle look alike. And I thought "what could be better than a comic that blends Buffy, with Fraggles (the incredible creation of mastermind Jim Henson) and of course, Firefly. Add in a little humor by Nerdcore's creator, who proclaimed once that "Wash killed Dumbledore", (-Ed: The ultimate spoiler.) and you're set.

To sum up this episode, Buttons has written a comic about herself as "Buttons, the Fraggle Slayer".
