For the record, Kristal is actually based on a real person. A real unpleasant person.

I know most of you are probably familiar with Penny Arcade, and in turn, Child's Play. I just wanted to do my part to get the word out. It's an awesome idea. What it is they're working with around five or so children's hospitals across the country, and they have Amazon Wishlists for each of them. You buy a toy from the list, and it gets shipped to the hospital. The hospitals distribute the toys to all the kids who have to spend Christmas in the hospital.

If you don't want to donate toys but still want to help out, you can donate cash too. If you go to the site you can donate through PayPal, or they have a postal address you can use.

I'm not currently working, so I had to settle on donating something small, but I plan on donating more once I get the chance. What I bought was only about $11, and sadly that was about half of my checking account balance, so there you have it.

I'm not being paid or getting anything in return for plugging PA's charity. I'm relatively sure that Mike and Jerry don't even know I exist. I just think this is an amazing idea to help out this Christmas, that we can all get it on.
