Playing Dungeons & Dragons is a lot like playing Make Believe with a rulebook.

Gary Gygax (the father of DnD) was a marketing genius. He must have looked at a bunch of kids, playing with their imaginations, then thought to himself, “hmmm… how can I monopolize on this?”

That day, Dungeons & Dragons was born.

Today, we dish out dozens of dollars so that we can make sure we are following the rules while playing with our imaginations.
