I think “shlurt” is the best stabbing onomatopoeia. I had to look through comic books to find “chuk” and “slish,” because frankly, I haven’t stabbed nearly enough people to be intricately familiar with the sound of flesh being pierced.

In the first panel, note the subtle animation effect on the fireball.
