Some people have expressed dislike for the blank, white eyes of the characters, whereas others expressed displeasure when I started adding irises and pupils.

Well, I hope the last pane has won over the latter.

Essentially, I keep the eyes blank unless I feel the need to place importance on them - either to show expression, direction of observation, etc…

Generally, during fights, the eyes will be blank - I guess this sort of conveys an "action mode" as opposed to a "story mode."
