~Page 87 - It's A Guy Thing~

When I pay 10$ to see a movie at the theatre, I don't care to see award-winning performances from Joe Drama and Sarah Crybaby. I could enjoy these types of movies just fine on a tv set (or better yet, not at all) - I don't need Miss Crybaby's tears rendered in high definition, with surround-sound sobbing.

When I pay 10$ to see a movie at the theatre, I want to see crazy action, special effects, epic battles, lazors [sic], jets/spaceships/dragons, and explosions. Lots of explosions.

In fact, if they made a movie that consisted solely of a series of awesome explosions loosely tied together by some paltry plot, I would be happy.

Oh wait, they did make such a movie:

Live Free Or Die Hard.

Awesome.

I guess it's a guy thing.
