Could there be a double-meaning behind this page's title?


A few orders of business…

First off, I've caught up on responding to comments. Sorry about the delay.

Secondly, I think I've figured out what causes certain comic pages to cause computers to lag. If I'm right, it shouldn't happen again. (For those who want to know the details, I believe the alpha effect (transparency) uses a great deal of system resources, and whenever an alpha moves, it has to recalculate every pixel affected for every frame of motion - thus, when I have many/large alphas in effect for several frames, it causes hitching.)

Thirdly, I just want to again call attention to an new entry I posted on the official NS blogspot site in which I'm looking for feedback on the animation and interactivity aspects of NS. If you could check it out and leave a comment, it will be immensely appreciated, and will serve to improve the NS experience for everyone. Thanks. No sign-up is required.
