yes, I had to bitmix.
I can't draw dogs in paint so this was the only dog I could think of from an NES or SNES game.

I do try to avoid bitmixing by only using sprites from the correct game the joke is from.
Well, there is no dog is super mario bros. 3 so duck hunt dog it is!
