I don't know why they're nonlethal and he's using bullets. Exploding bullets, mind you.

I try and answer any questions about how the Guild/League system works in comic without creating an As You Know situation, so I'll try to keep the readers clued into the specifics. This will probably involve the post-chapter strips like the Green Hammer one.
