I recently start using Macromedia's Fireworks for my comic and today was my first attempt at coloring my comic with it. I used Gimp Shop for a long time (it was free!) but it's buggy and I can't count how many times it's crashed on me when doing a strip.

To learn how to use it to color I checked out the forum's "Tips and Trick" section and found a tutorial on coloring using Photoshop, which wasn't all that different than using Fireworks (I just used layers instead of color channels).
