Myshkin's really grown on me as a character, he was meant to be an excuse for Dalton to narrate this chapter, but he's developed just a little bite. Talking cures are more about making the patient tackle their own problems gradually and with support. Myshkin's got the humanity and compassion to give comfort when it's due, but isn't all syrupy sweetness.
Oh and please feel free to comment on Dalton's prescriptions. I'm not a clinician although I've read around and do enjoy reading background literature and delving into actual research. While I've tried not to make any massively obvious goofs or go for anything too obscure I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.
