The creatures in No Room For Squares resemble wax statues, they would feel exactly like candlewax. Most don't have such useless things like a nose, a mouth or ears. They usually also choose not to have fingers or hair, even though most are capable of shaping their own body to their own liking.
Upon death the creautures will lose their power over their own bodies, making older creatures melt and making younger ones shrink over time. Usually the creautures are left where they die, blending in with the landscape over time. The humanoids have burial rituals however, and they perform a range of rituals quite similar to the rituals of humans.
