When I design Kim's character, I wanted to create a female character that was well rounded and independent thinking. There seems to be a tendency in web-comics to paint women as very two dimensional creatures. They're either pissy at the idiot man children they are forced to care for or they're psychotically exuberant over something marginally adorable they just witnessed. I'd like to think I'm doing something a little different with Kim. Whether I've succeeded is really up to the reader to determine.
