I'm actually a fan of both songs, but shhhh, don't tell Glen that. He might quit the strip.

Now granted, Dream Police isn't bubble gum pop, but Cheap Trick, in general, even if most of Cheap Trick's songs are. On that premise, you could make the generalization that ALL of Cheap Trick's songs are bubble gum pop. That of course would be pretty arbitrary, but Nic does it anyway, and I feel like it works.
