This thing here is Avery, a punk rock meets Chandler revitalization of all the things you didn't even know you wanted in your comics. The world of noir grays cast in pinks and purples, because who ever decided human misery needs to be desaturated and in poor lighting?

–That's the kind of melodrama I would have dropped on the editors at the Emerald City convention with Dan if I had the nerve, but I'd say we got our intentions out well enough.

Here's to the future. And the past.
