I rented Ratchet and Clank Future for PS3 on the weekend, and I've got to say, it's a really fun game. I would recommend it to anyone that owns a PS3. The levels are fun and colorful, and there's always lots going on. The combat system is really fun, and it takes me back to the good old platforming days (after Sonic, mind you) with stuff like Crash Bandicoot.

The only problem I would have with the game is the fact that at some points, it tries to be so many different genres, probably to distance itself from other platformers. Because of this, it can be kind of confusing. It's still fun as all hell, but switching from platformer, to button-masher, to first person shooter type action, well, it's a lot of shifting, and I've noticed that a lot of the reviews point this out. But of course, the reviews are a lot longer, so that's the summed up version.

I also played the demo for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for the PS3, and that game (demo) is fucking amazing. It's the most realistic game I have ever got my hands on. The character animation is so fluid and full of, well, realism. Not only that, but it's got some of the best graphics I've seen on a console game yet. The game is incredibly difficult, though, which is partly due to the fact that you are alone, in a gunfight with only a pistol, with about six or seven guys with assault rifles. Again, I have to recommend this game when it comes out.

I hope to pick up Call of Duty 4 sometime very soon, because I've been hearing nothing but good about the game. The multiplayer is apparently quite amazing, which will finally bring my Xbox Live account back to life, as I haven't touched it since the Halo hype died down a bit.

It's times like this that I wish I had shit loads of money. Assassin's Creed, Kane and Lynch, Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4, and so on, and so forth. Not to mention Rock Band. So many awesome games are coming out just this month, and I won't be able to afford all of them. I need to make sure I get enough to last me a full week though, because Winter-Een-Mas approaches.

You also may have noticed that I added some more links to the home page. I am going to be updating the comic page, as well, with the new ones. I have a shirt available now, which can be found through the store link, and also for those people who do not want to sign up for a DrunkDuck account to give feedback, there is a link to e-mail me as well.
