FFS #33: The Kayla Situation: Conclusion

Finally, this shit is over! So, Mick is the new roommate, and Dan's bangin' Kayla? Who thinks up this shit? Meh, I just wanted to add a little more spice to the "plot" of FFS comics. I also wanted to see what Glenn would look like if boobs talked to him. I picture them having a deep, manly voice. Like the cranky old dude that always has a cigar hanging out of his mouth. I'm glad I have rum.

I did this comic up early on Friday, because I rented Mass Effect, which is ridiculously fun to play, but boring to watch, so I apologize for my previous "reviews" of the game, and I also decided that I don't care about drums or a seemingly shitty guitar controller, so I picked up Rock Band as well, just the game.

I've already got the Metallica pack downloaded, and have shredded my way through those four songs. It's a fun game, and I really like the way it's set up. The hammer ons and pull offs aren't as awesome as Guitar Hero III's, but it's something I can adapt to. I am really looking forward to going online and playing with a band. Furthermore, as long as someone else has a guitar controller, I can still do a three man band, with one bass, one guitar, and a singer (the 360 headset works as a microphone), so it isn't all that bad.

Mass Effect, as I said, is much better when you're actually playing. Some might remember me calling it nothing special because I sat around and watched Logan play it. Turns out, when you're at the helm, the game is much, much better. I've played several hours of it so far, and had a very late night last night because of it. I think this is a game I will pick up if I can't beat it before it is due back on Wednesday. I am just wondering what the replay value will be…

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Not-So-Jolly Festivus, and get ready for Winter-Een-Mas, mother fuckers!
