Holy funking shins, Batman! A new comic?

Sorry about the intense lull in updates there. I've been working like, well, someone that works a lot of hours to catch up on work that I was never really behind on to begin with; there was just too much of it.

The comic above speaks the truth, however, in that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, is about to launch on the Playstation 3. We are a mere twelve days away from the final chapter in Solid's Snake's impressive career. I couldn't be happier about the impending release, and the reviews I've read that hail this as the greatest game of the series.

But I'm also saddened that our beloved Snake is reaching the end of his journey. It's been a long, confusing one. He deserves his rest.

I think it's funny that reviewers are being told not to mention certain things about the game, however. Aside from plot points, they are being asked not to talk about the installation time required for the game, which is rumored to be quite large. They are also being asked not to divulge the length of the cutscenes in the game.

Several reviews have stated, without mentioning length, that the cutscenes make up half of the time spent playing the game, which I am excited for. Metal Gear has always had a gripping way of telling its story. And this one, boasting tie-ups to every loose end throughout the saga, has a lot of story to tell. I've heard rumors of cutscenes being up to ninety minutes long, which is the closest we'll ever get to a Metal Gear movie, I would think.

Hopefully I can get back on track for updates, but I can't make any promises. I just had three days off, so the upcoming week is more than likely going to stress me out to the point of cranial combustion.

H.
