Masque Magazine: September 2007

Masque Magazine for September '07, loaded on September 07th. I swear I didn't actually do that on purpose.
So…
Masque Magazine is the kind of magazine that I would have liked to have seen when I was younger.
Or made.
So I did.
Sorta.
I melded it into my own projects by way of it's creator/publisher, Damian Gray. A photographer and entrepreneur in Universe 84013-G who found that he had the ability to travel from parallel Earth to parallel Earth at will. He was fascinated by superpowers and superheroes, but,
instead of becoming a superhero, or whatever, he learned to do what he loved. Photography, journalism and such and founded a magazine in each of the Earths he traveled to.
(Each one that had superheroes, anyway.)
Sadly, I seemed to have misplaced/erased most of the Masque covers I have made, but I am still looking.
For now, I will reload the ones I have.==================================================September 2007 featured the brawny babe, Lady Atlas.Originally from Universe 98073-J(Called the Rapture-verse, as when strange lights from the sky beamed down across the Earth and gave exactly 100 people superhuman powers, it was referred to by the news media as "The Rapture".)Joanie Moran was a librarian. When struck by the Rapture, she gained superstrength unparalleled. She, craving action and adventure attempted to join the Police Department, but was denied. There were no actual superheroes on this world, but she did her part to help stop crimes and disasters. eventually the Mayor had her deputized, as her antics and physique drew many a tourist to her city of Seaport City, Massachussetts. Though she doesn't really fancy herself a superhero, the media has dubbed her "Lady Atlas", and the name stuck. On a balmy day in September, Masque Magazine caught up with Lady Atlas for a few pics and a cover shot.Seems Joanie Moran now has all the adventure she craves, and still enjoys her work at the local Seaport City library.
