Right now I just want to get the comic up before lightning strikes and my internet gets knocked out. D:

Okay, now that the storm has safely passed over us and my computer is no longer in danger of being fried, I can type up all sorts of stuff for you guys to read. :)

Well, yesterday was my last day of work. Woo-hoo! I don't have to be on call at the deli any more! Originally, today was supposed to be my last day, but due to some unforeseen circumstances (ie: my mom FORGOT I was working even though I told her a BAJILLION TIMES I was, and she made big plans for that day, resulting in me begging for my mom to get the day off) my employment was allowed to end a day early. SWEEEEEETNESSSSS!

I also made my first big buy of the summer: a lovely pink Nintendo DS! I only have one game for it at this point, and that's Pokemon Diamond. My team is pretty killer so far; all my party members are around lv. 40 and still growing. If anyone has their own copy, I'm going to be looking for some friend codes soon so I can goof around online and beef up my Pokedex.

But the reason I tell all of you guys this is to let you know what's been going on in my life. I've been so insanely busy lately that when I do find some free time I don't spend it drawing, but lying around the house beating gym leaders and reading instead of drawing and working on comics. I've had the next page on my computer for well over two weeks half colored, but I've been so lazy and distracted all the time I haven't been able to finish it, as well as the 3+ other pages I've scanned.
*sigh* I need to kick myself.
But anyway, now that my employment has been terminated for the summer (though I only have a week of summer left), I can POSSIBLY get myself motivated to do more art-related stuff. I still haven't made a birthday picture for Chaypeta yet! And her birthday was over A FRIGGIN MONTH AGO!! I am awful. I am the epitome of awful, terrible person-ness. D: Black Dove made some KILLER fanart for me of one of my favorite characters ages ago and I haven't been able to do anything about it. BUT IT WILL BE POSTED ON MONDAY, so I can show it off then. How does that sound?

Bah. Well, I would like to get to answering messages and emails like crazy (Wazaga and KJ, I think of you when I write this), but those plans my mom made for my technical last day of employment included driving for some five hours through five states to pick up my brothers from summer camp. So I won't be back for two days. Can you guys hang in there until then?
