And once again with Mrs. Giry's cryptic statements.
This page was so much fun to draw. It's terribly "shoujo" with all the bubbles and sparkles, but it was really enjoyable to draw.
And I had to slip in a little from Faust of course (although this will not be the last time I reference it. Faust will actually be a very prevalent theme in the story). When I was designing Christine's dress I decided afterward that it looked a lot more like Marguerite's gown than Cinderella's. So I decided to make it part of the plot.
