I've finished the short story that will be accompanying exclusively the upcoming "Opey the Warhead Collection". I have only to make the cover and it should be ready to roll. The collection will include the first three issues of "Opey the Warhead", a 4 page short story found only in the collection, and a look at earlier drawings and concepts behind "Opey the Warhead".

The script for Issue 4 of Opey is also shaping up and, as soon as I get the collection out of the way, I'll resume work on that.

Meanwhile, here's a portion of a page for an earlier version of "Opey the Warhead" I never used. This earlier version had a more manga kind of style. It detailed how Opey's Dad came to find Opey and was a lot more adventuresome in tone than what finally came to be "Opey the Warhead". I opted, instead, to start the final version of "Opey the Warhead" (seen here on Drunk Duck) with Opey himself rather than his dad.
