[7] Neopet's Meowclops and Kadoatie
Black_Kitty onToday had been a crappy day so I tried to sketch up something happier. For those of you who play Neopets, you probably know what these are: petpets! And in particular, it's a Meowclops and a Kadoatie.
I used to use a Meowclops avatar around here and at NightGig as well. I do love me a Meowclops. :D I used to be a Neopets junkie although nowadays I don't really play anymore. I did log back on today just to check it out though. I wonder how much my transformation potions and paintbrushes would be worth?
Anyhow, it's a rough sketch and I think they're slightly off-level from each other. The one thing I purposely did differently from the official Neopets art are their paws. They do this round paw thing in the official art but I can't stand drawing those. I draw them all the time for work. :S
But I do like it overall. Maybe I'll colour it someday.
In other news, I started uploading the old Random Thoughts strips again~

I personally wanted the Plushie Paint Brush. :( That was really cute. I think if I sell everything I have in my account (paint brushes, potions, retired items, etc) I could probably afford it but then all I would have is a paint brush. :(
I do have a Meowclops though! :D A friend of mine gave it to me as a gift.

i kno….i had delusions of granduer for the darigan paint brush….it was just soooo pretty and evil!! have you seen the darigan eyrie? oooooo! yesh! (hah! i rate again!! X3)

Yeah I wasn't that great at the games either. :( I was a restocker once and that was quite fun. But then they changed the way you buy items from the store and haggling the price with the shopkeepers became less fun. At some point, the shopkeeper hits their absolute lowest price and no matter what you do, you can't get them to budge. So restocking became a less profitable activity. :(
I think the problem was that the fun things you can do like painting your pets or transforming them become increasingly expensive over time. It cost me 100k to buy a Spotted Paint Brush back when I played regularly. I check back now and it's apparently worth 400k! O.o

heeey! i used to go to that site! it was fun for a while but it got boring..you could never make enough neopoints to do anything fun…most likely cause i suck at games. (–);;
