Yeah! That'll teach em you're not just some thieving goblin! Such a vicious cycle…. So Nule is understandably upset over how is day has gone. And he has sworn vengeance in the only way he knows how. By stealing stuff.

"Cause like… then its mine… And the person I'm mad at doesn't have it anymore…. So THERE!"

In a world that doesn't particularly care about Goblins, it's hard for someone like Nule to exercise control over his environment. Goblins are smaller than most other sentient races. They get a reputation for being shifty, and untrustworthy. They aren't particularly strong but they are resourceful. Small, quick, and with an inherent ability to blend in to their surroundings, makes Goblins natural thieves.


And when you've been wronged, and lack the physical strength to stick up for yourself, Stealing is just one way of getting even or settling the score.

So Nule performs his vow of enmity, and searches for something to steal from Mr. Shopkeeper. Will he be successful? You'll have check in next time to find out. ;)
