Dr5pectre onIt's nice to have a plan, and Nule is good at making them. Focusing on how he will rob and thoroughly best Mr. Shopkeeper, makes Nule feel like he's doing something useful and that he will be able to come out of this on top. That way, he doesn't have time to focus on the fact that he's trapped in a glass jar at the mercy of an unfriendly giant. Control. That's what's important. So long as Nule can one-up Mr. Shopkeeper and get away unscathed, everything will be okay.
The alternative is curling into a ball and crying. And Nule is a big tough man. Too macho for tears.
But revenge? That sounds way manlier than sniffling.
On an unrelated note, we learn that Mr. Shopkeeper does indeed have a name. One that apparently starts with an F.
