I never realized that the name of my comic could be used as an innuendo until I wrote this comic, but the name actually refers to the term in action figures that refers to figures that were manufactured despite the fact that the characters aren't that popular. They are usually the ones that don't sell very well and stay on shelves for a long time… in fact real Pegwarmers often end up in the bargain bin.

So the name of this comic is ironic because Deadpool is rare and Spider-Man and Batman are (obviously) VERY popular characters. In fact, most characters that have appeared in my comic are.
