Spider-Man is committing a faux pas. It's generally not a good idea to mention exes so early in a relationship.

Anyway, the girl Spider-Man is talking about is Black Cat aka Felicia Hardy. I don't remember what book I read this in, I think it was a Venom origins book, so it was a while back in Amazing Spider-man that the two dated.

And Peter was a high school teacher like a year or two ago. That was pre-Civil War and they kind of dropped that when Peter revealed his secret identity to the world and got fired…or something, I don't really remember.
