I don't remember what the first picture for Batman Begins was, but the first picture for The Dark Knight was The Joker. And keeping with that tradition, they released an image of the main villain of TDKR and that is, of course, Bane.

And I am impressed with Nolan's Bane. You can view a pretty decent High Resolution picture of him here

Since this is primarily a superhero comic, I try to include relevant news to superheroes I really like. Batman being one of my favorites. I'm trying not to do too much, but the image of the main villain in the upcoming movie seemed important.

Plus, I'm giving you a break from the Star Trek comics.
