As mediocre as #1 is, awful #2 is, and pretty good #3 is, Transformers sells pretty well. I'm not sure how Green Lantern is doing, but no one other than myself seems to like it.

I'm having a weird track record as of late. I mean, apart from Super 8 and X-Men: First Class, the movies I like this summer have gotten piss poor critic reviews including Green Lantern, Transformers 3, and Cars 2. I guess I'm not as persnickety as they are, but most other people who've seen them are like this, too.

Oh well.

And yeah, I did like Transformers 3. As someone who grew up with Beast Wars, I didn't feel like it was besmirching my childhood as much as the first two did. It still didn't live up to the Transformers series I've seen, but it was fun and seemed to have been better planned.

Oh…I will say this…Shockwave was built up, but barely in the movie. I was severely disappointed with how they handled him.
