Yes…this is my My Little Pony and no…I'm not ashamed. I got into the new cartoon series partially out of curiosity because many adult males on the internet liked it and partially out of nostalgia from watching the old series with my sister.
And without a doubt, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is some quality programming. Much like Powerpuff Girls (which owes a lot of its creativity to the same person who created this series: Lauren Faust), the show appears cutesy, but could easily appeal to guys.
In fact, there's a community of fans for MLP: FiM called "Bronies." I consider myself a Bronie.
Though…I'm not going to make too many FiM strips. I know I tend to go overboard with things like this, Star Trek, Transformers, Godzilla, etc. when I first get the figures, but I've only got a couple of comics planned.
