I haven't been reading Captain America that long, to be honest. I started after I saw the recent movie and liked the character, so I'm not all that knowledgeable about the character.
See, the thing is…I don't know where this costume comes from, but it's bad ass. It's part of the reason I bought this particular figure. I wanted one of the ones from his solo movie (not so much the Avengers movie, though that costume is cool), but they're too damn small.
Oh, and his shield is nice and photogenic. It looks cooler in this comic than in person, though it does look pretty cool in person.
