The funny thing is…I don't think Chell particularly LIKES the companion cube. I get the feeling that GLaDOS just shoves it in her face and tries to get her to like it so that she can mess with Chell's head when she makes her destroy it.
But I picture Chell not reacting or maybe rolling her eyes because of all the attention GLaDOS gives to the companion cube…when in reality, Chell just sees it as a metal box.
