So…this is a gag in Doctor Who that I was hoping would be a running gag, but I can only remember The Doctor and one of his companions doing it twice. (And the third time wasn't a gag, but actually kinda serious considering what The Doctor had been through prior to that, but I won't get into that.)
Yeah, so…they'd run into someone who had a different accent (or group of people) and in efforts to fit in, his companion would do a terrible impression with a bunch of stereotypical sayings and The Doctor would tell them to stop…just like this.
