669. Bringing "Amazing" Back

This is something I've been griping about since it started. (As many of you know.) Now, I liked Superior Spider-Man, but not as the main Spider-Man comic. Had this been a side story or had there been another Peter Parker out there doing his thing while this was going on (like Ultimate Spider-Man), I would've been okay with it.
But with Ultimate Peter Parker dead and mainstream Peter Parker haunting his own body, I got really tired of Marvel leaving Peter out completely. I like Peter Parker. Miles is okay, but Peter Parker is the one true Spider-Man. Give me Ultimate or 616. S'all I ask.
And in their absence, I turned to Kaine Parker aka Scarlet Spider and Flash Thompson aka Agent Venom. They were good reads, but no real substitute for the real thing. And then they cancelled them. BOTH of them. Fortunately, there's not much time between the end of Scarlet Spider and the beginning of Amazing Spider-Man…or the return of Amazing Spider-man.
Just in time for the second Andrew Garfield movie. Coincidence? Probably not, but hey…whatever reason brings back the true Spider-Man, the better.
