I don't know much about aerodynamics, but I wouldn't think a bat-shaped plane could fly. Now…something closer to the Batplane in the Arkham games, sure. But the freakin' Batplane from Batman '89 and Batman Forever? Yeah…I have my suspicions.
And I have no idea whether or not that floating phaser from The Dark Knight Rises can fly or not. (Okay, it only reminds me of a phaser from certain angles.) Floating "this isn't a car?"
